You will need need pen and paper for this quick exercise. Step 1: Go into the room or rooms in which you want to burn your soy candle. Do you want to create an uplifting, vibrant mood? Relaxing and comforting? Like the scent of baked goods or fruit? Do you like Woody or Herb type scents? Do you like the scent of flowers? Write down your preferences. Or do the reverse - write down what you don't like for this room or rooms.
Step 2: Look through our fragrance descriptions below and in the New Fragrances page. We have categorised our scents into 4 broad categories to make choosing fragrances easier for you. Look for fragrances that you think will achieve the mood or moods you have written in Step 1. These can be different for everyone because of the different brain associations attached to scents.
Step 3: Take the plunge - order and try your chosen fragrance. If you like it, enjoy! If you don't, try another fragrance on your list and find a friend or relative who might love it as an impromptu gift (even if it has been burned once, most people love to receive the gift of scent!)
